Movie "Sustainable" and short LCLT Annual Meeting

Monday, Mar. 26, 2018, 6:00 pm

Admission: Free

Light refreshments.

Come see what Documentary Drive calls "What a farming documentary should be." The narrative of the film focuses on Marty Travis, a seventh-generation farmer in central Illinois who watched his land and community fall victim to the pressures of big agribusiness. Determined to create a proud legacy for his son, Marty transforms his profitless wasteland and pioneers the sustainable food movement in Chicago.

Let's keep the conversation of farming alive on Lopez by engaging the issue of sustainable food security. There will be a very short Annual Meeting for LCLT. The Lopez Library is co-sponsoring this event. There will be light refreshments.
