Kevin Paul, master wood carver with the Swinomish tribe, will speak about his work. This is part of the Coast Salish Speaker Series, sponsored by the Lopez Library, San Juan Islands National Monument, and San Juan County Parks. Due to a generous San Juan County LTAC grant, these programs are free to the public.

Kevin "Wa lee hub" Paul, (born in 1960), tribal elder, Swinomish Indian Tribal Community; resident of Swinomish and LaConner, Washington. Kevin is a master carver of contemporary and traditional Native American carvings. He has taught Northwest Wood Carving in the La Conner School District since 1994. He is a keeper of the drum and lead singer of Skagit Valley Singers.
