The Monument Advisory Committee (MAC) meeting for the San Juan Islands National Monument is scheduled for September 24, 2019. The meeting will take place at the Lopez Center for the Community and Arts, and will start at 10:30am to accommodate those traveling to Lopez Island via ferry. The meeting is open to the public.
Topics to be addressed at this meeting include the selection of a new MAC chair and vice chair, updates on applications to vacant MAC positions, and an update on the Resource Management Plan status.
A public comment period is scheduled to start at 1:00pm.
