The day starts at 11am with workshops, and goes until 10pm with a huge lineup of local acts. Tickets are $20 adults and free for those under 18.

Workshops: 11am-2pm

Hawk Arps will share 55 years of knowledge and experience from his life-long quest to share the musical muse. Demonstrating the fundamental pillars of music to communicate on a spirit level. He'll also talk about ways to make harmonic progressions more interesting as well as rhythmic nuances more intentional, and discuss why playing COVER SONGS can be important to the expression of originality.

1:00pm - Northwest Songwriting - Pacific Northwest songwriters Stanley Greenthal and Chris Aiken will give you a dive into their personal experience as songwriters sharing their inspirations and process. With Chris' NW heart driven songs, to Stanley's influences from here at home on Lopez to as far flung as the Balkans and British Isles.

To keep your sweet-tooth happy, the kids are planning their very own bake sale which, rumor has it, may include cotton candy.

Activities:
Make your own festival button! Our event organizer still has his Bumbershoot button from the same date in 1981! We will likely have other activities, but this will have to be a spontaneous affair based on person power and keeping it all COVID-19 safe. Let us know if you are interested in stepping up to facilitate an activity.

Be Prepared:
Bring the following items for a great day in the park:
-A lawn chair and/or blanket
-Warm layers for the evening
-A water bottle
-Hand sanitizer
-The ubiquitous face covering

COVID-19 Policy:
Lopez is a wonderful, tight knit community and as promotors, we care deeply about the health and well-being of all. After much debate, UNIVERSAL MASKING WILL BE REQUIRED with the exception of the socially distanced food court, beer garden, or your own cohort’s festival mini-camp, aka your blanket bubble.

Volunteers:
If you are interested in volunteering for the festival, let us know. Not only do you get free admission, but you will be a part of something pretty special as we bring all this great original music out to the community!
