Please read: IMPORTANT COVID Protocols update

We are pleased to announce that Lopez Center is modifying its requirements for attending indoor public events. Due to the recent significant decrease in COVID cases in San Juan County, vaccination will no longer be required. At the same time we are strengthening our masking requirement: everyone age two and over who attend indoor public events at the Center must wear a K95 or KN95. Masks will be available at the door.

These changes have been made after discussion with the Health Department and review of best practices regarding face coverings. We believe that lifting the vaccination requirement, while at the same time strengthening our masking requirement, promotes an environment that is inclusive and protects our community.

The Center’s COVID work group will continue to monitor and evaluate conditions and base future decisions on science and experience.

It is important to note that the COVID requirements for public rentals and private events vary.
