Prince William Sound south to Glacier Bay, AK, is rarely seen by tourists. Some of the world's most spectacular mountain/glacier scenery is found in this region. The best, and commonly the only, way to view this country, is from the air. I was lucky enough (beginning about 40 years ago) to work for industry, and the U.S.Geological Survey in an area that is now part of the largest U.S. National Park-Wrangell St. Alias.

The Big question: how has global warming affected these huge mountain glaciers years later, such as the Malaspina? Some places are now unrecognizable from years past.

Join Ian Lange as we helicopter and boat back through this beautiful but unforgiving country viewing "larger than life" mountains, glaciers, and animal and plant life.
